As part of my third-year group project, I worked with a team of four to develop a healthcare device designed to help arthritis patients improve their range of motion. The device supports the PAILs and RAILs method (Progressive and Regressive Angular Isometric Loading), a mobility technique developed by Dr. Andrea Spina. I was responsible for designing the electronic system, and also contributed to the mechanical design using a range of creative tools and prototyping methods to bring our concept to life.
